MC: Concept Development

Plot Synopsis:
We planned on using a classic stock plot for our horror opening. It will be based around a young girl who is going into town to do some shopping. Whilst going round town, there will be a man who the audience constantly see watching her. He is seen in the corners of reflective windows and mirrors and she spots him within a crowd but when she looks back, he is gone. She then goes to wait for a bus home but sees the same guy standing over the road watching her. A bus will then go past and he will disappear. She sits on the bus and we see her staring out the window whist simultaneously we see the guy getting into her house and setting up a murder scene. The girl then arrives home, unlocks the door, turns on the light and goes into the living room. She freaked out by the stuff in her living room and then suddenly a hand will grasp over her mouth.

Potential Locations:

• In Tunbridge Wells town centre
• Katie's house. 
• A bus stop in town

Soundtrack:

We will most probably use freesound.com for our sound effects in our sequence.
The underlying music will be a royalty free song that has a creepy tone to it. When things start to get creepy and scary we will build up the tension by adding layers and increasing the volume of the sound mix. In places where we want to make the audience jump, we will have a sudden increase in volume and make a really sudden bang type noise. We haven't decided on the exact sounds we want yet but we will see what fits our piece.
